The Strings Aflame - Pyre CD (Otitis Media) 

This band has an incredible sound, using the palette of sounds used with vintage surf music, like heavily reverbed staccato guitars, chiming lead guitar melodies and a great rhythm section. The songs are all original compositions, and take you on a journey around the world with songs inspired by the ocean, the wind, nature and the rhythms of their native country. Overall a great debut album from this relatively new band on the scene.
