The Sir Finks - (Tres Mexicanos) Del Sur De Texas CD (Get Hip) 

The Sir Finks, a great traditional surf band based in Texas, delivered several CD and 7” releases in the mid-to-late 90’s, then dissolved into other bands such as The Ugly Beats and The Thunderchiefs. Get Hip has done a great job with this new CD, gathering up just about everything they recorded and packaging it with some nifty cover art, rare photos and detailed liner notes. Lots of great originals here, as well as some choice covers like “Spanish Flea”, “Steel Pier”, “Jack The Ripper”, "Boots" and a fuzz-drenched take on “Heart Full Of Soul”.
