Supertubos - Rendezvous CD (Sharawaji) 

This Spanish four-piece instrumental combo has been honing their sound since 2016, and this is their latest release. With eight songs it falls somewhere between an album and an EP - there really should be a term for albums like that.... Anyways, they do pack a great sound into this compact disc - while they shake things up with slower and faster songs, they primarily mix spaghetti western twang with a bit of punk and a dash of surf. Melodies are strong throughout, and I like how they bolden their sound with occasional organ, upright rockabilly bass (on “Built For Speed”) and sound effects.
