Released in time for their 2024 US tour, Russian band Messer Chups have a brand new album out with 14 songs and as-always, eye-catching and vibrant cover art. There are new recordings, songs that have appeared on other releases, and several interesting cover songs. The original songs that are instrumental are excellent - among the band’s best. The cover songs are well-done, and especially in the case of “Nights In White Satin” they speed it up and play with the primary melodies a bit, almost creating a brand new song out of it. If you are a big fan of the band, or brand new to them, then you'll definitely want to pick this up.
