Martin Denny - Exotica LP (Reissue - Mono) (Jackpot)
This was Martin Denny's debut release - the mono version is the one that was released back in 1957. It was re-recorded in stereo and released the following year, but if you are looking for a reissue of the very first Martin Denny release this is it! It features the talents of Arthur Lyman and Augie Colon, and this is the version that Martin Denny himself preferred. It also was the first time (reportedly) that the word "Exotica" was used - so in essence this release launched the whole exotica craze that still lives on today. This is a Jackpot Records reissue.
Note: This is pressed on black vinyl and does not come with a download card.
