This Canadian combo, led by guitarist and primary songwriter Mark Malibu, has been delivering some of the best surf and instrumental rock n’ roll songs of the last decade or so. Melodic and sporting strong performances from all members of the band, matched by clear and powerful production - the songs on all of their releases are enjoyable for die hard surf fans, and casual fans alike. This CD, clocking in at over 60 minutes, contains 18 songs from their last three vinyl releases, along with some rare and unreleased treasures. Every few songs you get an installment of the “radio drama”, The Haunted Hotrod Beach Party, which builds on the atmosphere created by the songs. Cover art, as with all of the Wasagas’ releases, was done by one of the finest artists of the last 40 years or so - MERINUK!
