Wow! If one could sum up this disc in one word that’d be it. While their previous releases were all excellent, this takes things up a whole new level. The songs, the guitars, the twang, the production, the songwriting, the cover art (by the legendary Merinuk), and heck, they even throw in a tasteful cover of a lesser-known Ramones tune. Honestly, there is really not much more to look for in a modern surf/instro release - this has got it all! Heck, one of the tracks gives you step-by-step instructions on how to do the Wasaga Twist - the record is not just fun, but it teaches you something! The CD version includes 4 additional bonus tracks (which aren’t throwaways - they are just as solid as the regular LP tracks). Definitely one of the top releases of 2020!
