Los Cowabungas - Bahia Volc​a​nica CD (AKL)

Bahía Volcanica is the first official release by Mexico City’s Los Cowabungas - it was recorded in 2020 and released in 2021. It consists of 7 original songs plus a cover of Green Day’s "Last Ride In", from their Nimrod album. I didn’t know Green Day did any surf instrumentals, and perhaps this was the only one they did, but it’s pretty decent and Los Cowabungas do a good, if not faithful, rendition of it. This disc contains songs from their first demo Queremos Surf of 2014, re-recorded and with better quality, plus a few new songs.
