Les Robots - Exploring The Boundaries Of The Multiverse CD (Double Crown)
It's the latest, and most extraordinary, release by Dutch surf/instro/experimental rock n' roll group Les Robots! Featuring 19 tracks, the recordings were made in Studio Teepdek, the same place where great albums by The Krontjong Devils and Fleur were made. If you flip out to outer space surf sounds with vintage 60's production, similar to The Concussions or Man Or Astro-man?, the guitar bite of Link Wray, and the timeless guitar melodies of The Shadows, with flourishes of synth sounds and textures ala Jean Jacques Perrey, you will absolutely love this release! The production is incredible as well - you'll swear that the great Joe Meek was behind the knobs. The disc features original artwork by Vinay Munikoti, with sleeve design by Peter Kroes. Double Crown Records is proud to work once again with the great Topsy Turvy/Soundflat Records - they have released this as a deluxe 2xLP package, while we are releasing the CD version.
