Kitten And The Tonics - Alarmium 7" EP (House Of Tabu)

After releasing the digital EP Painkiller in 2023, this Michigan based combo is back with their debut physical release. Containing four songs, this release mixes surf and exotica, with a strong dose of rockabilly as well (which makes sense, considering Kitten Redman is slapping an upright bass which naturally gives songs a rockabilly vibe). Three of the songs are originals, with the fourth “Graveyard” being a cover originally done by The Phantom Five (an obscure early 60’s combo, not Thee Phantom 5ive who were a fun Nashville surf band in the 90’s). This EP is really cool and and great intro to the band - the vinyl is limited to 200 copies so act fast to add this one to your collection!
